Emma Frost | The White Queen.

A quick design, but the thinking behind it was: if she’s called The White Queen, why shouldn’t her costume be connected to that? With that in mind, I looked up a couple of Elizabethan outfits and went from there, while trying to keep it true to her origins as a member of the Hellfire Club.

X-Men: Season One is going to be so awesome.

My new Facebook hobby is making fun of people who post stupid things on my friend’s statuses; mostly about feminist and political things.

This one was a comment on a video where the idea soft peddled was that feminists who ask men for help are hypocrites.

Ultimate comics Ultimates how I love thee…the Reed reveal is still a mystery to me though (how did this happen, why is Johnny’s hair black over in X-men, why is he even in X-Men, inquiring minds wanna know)

Most if this was explained in the Ultimate Mystery Trilogy:

Basically Reed faked his own death to start a project in the Negative Zone in order to purify (aka kill) variable influences to his perfect vision of the world. He tries to kill Peter, Fury, and even the Thing.

The victims of his plot eventually take the fight to Reed and blow up his station in the negative zone. Reed is trapped, but makes a new plan to perfect the world by replacing it, while rebuilding his portal.

Johnny has black hair because he dyed it while living with Peter Parker and going to his high school.

While living with Peter, Gwen Stacy and Bobby Drake (who dyes his hair blonde) at Aunt May’s house, his story crosses paths with Kitty Pride, who runs away after Peter dies.

(Mist of theses points are more succinctly covered in Ultimate Fallout, where all the vignettes are written by the writers of their respective series.)
